MORE ABOUT CANADIAN FRESHWATER MOLLUSC RESEARCH MEETING 2023
2023 marks the 5th biennial Canadian Freshwater Mollusc Research Meeting!
What started out as a small informal gathering of southern Ontario mussel researchers has grown into the largest meeting devoted to the study of freshwater molluscs in Canada. The 2021 meeting saw nearly 150 researchers (government scientists, academics, resource managers, educators, students and interested Canadians) from across Canada and around the world attend to share their knowledge and experience with this highly imperiled fauna.
Join us in November 2023 at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters in Burlington, ON, to share your research, monitoring, outreach and educational experiences about freshwater molluscs. CFMRM 2023 will feature 2 days of platform presentations, a poster session and plenty of opportunity for networking.
Platform presentations are 20 minutes in length including 3-5 minutes for questions. Posters will be available throughout the meeting with a designated viewing time during the first day.
We are happy to announce that once again in 2023 registration will be free!!
Unable to attend in person? No problem, as in previous years we will be offering a virtual attendance option.
